INTA Annual Meeting 2021 is over, which means it’s time to sum up! This year, the organizers decided to take a risk and hold three mini-conferences offline in parallel with the online event, each one day in different cities – Berlin, New York and Los Angeles. Viktoriia Ostapchuk also decided to take a chance and take part in one of them – in Berlin. Questionnaires, certificates, tests, a lot of persistence and a little bit of magic – and she did it! Traveling during the quarantine is a quest.
The result, however, was worth it! Taking the opportunity to spend a week in Berlin, Viktoriia had many pleasant meetings with her colleagues from Germany. The mini-conference on November 17, which about 200 participants attended, was also full of enjoyable meetings with partners and new acquaintances with colleagues from different countries. With those who participated in the Annual Meeting 2021 online, there was a convenient opportunity to hold meetings through the online platform INTA Connect.
Of course, the mini-conference format cannot be compared with the usual scale of the INTA Annual Meeting. Still, in the realities of the last two years, even such an opportunity to meet and communicate with colleagues is valuable.
INTA announced a full-scale Annual Meeting in the spring of 2022 in Washington DC. We hope nothing stands in the way of this and look forward to meeting in the USA!
