The largest international conference dedicated to trademark protection, INTA 138th Annual Meeting, took place last week. The conference is held annually by the International Trademark Association in different locations, and this year participants were invited to sunny Orlando, Florida, the United States. The conference lasted from May 21 until May 25 and was the largest in its history – it gathered nearly 10,000 attendees from over 140 countries.

This year Synergy Agency’s Managing Partner Viktoriia Ostapchuk and lawyer Anastasiia Zaitseva also participated in the conference. In addition to a store of impressions and positive emotions evoked by a trip and this event, they returned with a lot of new acquaintances with interesting people.

The conference offered ample opportunities to meet and communicate with partners and colleagues. The exhibition hall was also an excellent platform to establish contacts with representatives of IP companies from across the world.

In addition, the event programme was filled with many interesting lectures, round-table meetings and discussions on various subjects related to trademark protection and the best practices of different countries. Meanwhile, well-arranged entertainment activities kept us busy at leisure and allowed us to communicate with colleagues and customers in pleasant informal surroundings.

According to Viktoriia, the INTA Annual Meeting is an IP event worth to travel to the other end of the world.

As previously announced, the INTA Annual Meeting 2017 will be held next May in Spain – we are looking forward to it!
