Last week, AIPPI World Congress 2019 ended in London – an event held annually by the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property. The purpose of the event intersects with the objective of the Association and is to improve and promote the protection of intellectual property, both on both international and national bases. All members of the Association are actively involved in its activities, working on the development and improvement of international agreements and national legislation of countries relating to intellectual property. With a common mind, they find and implement the best ways to solve current problems in the industry.
Managing Partner of Synergy IP Law Agency Viktoriia Ostapchuk and Senior Associate Olga Khreschenko, who are members of AIPPI, also joined the 2500 IP Specialists gathered at the Conference Sept. 14-18 in London. A magnificent city with incredible history and spirit contributed to the wonderful atmosphere of the Conference. The extensive program included a large number of educational sessions, active committee work, networking, as well as incredible receptions and cultural evenings. Of course, Viktoriia and Olga also took the opportunity to meet friends and partners from all over the world and enjoy the beauty of London on lovely sunny weather. The event has tuned and inspired for the new IP business season in the best way.
Next year, AIPPI World Congress 2020 will be held on the other side of the globe – in the Chinese city of Hangzhou. We look forward to seeing you in the land of the rising sun!
