EBA Annual General Membership Meeting
On November 20, the European Business Association (EBA) held its pinnacle event of the year – Annual General Membership Meeting. The event was attended by the leaders of the EBA member companies and high-ranking officials – representatives of the government, parliament and presidential administration. President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman also participated in the AGMM and made speeches to business representatives.
Viktoriia Ostapchuk, as a managing partner of the Synergy agency, attended the EBA Annual Meeting and told how the event was held. During the discussion panel, officials and business representatives spoke about the reforms and prospects of Ukraine, including the development of relations and trade with the EU. It was noted that foreign investors are generally satisfied with the business climate in Ukraine, although they are negative about the large number of shadow businesses in Ukraine and the outflow of skilled labor abroad. The Prime Minister of Ukraine assured that Ukraine is on the path of economic stabilization.
The AGMM program also included the announcement of the EBA Board elections results, summary of the activity in 2018 and evening reception. The event was an excellent opportunity to communicate in a pleasant atmosphere, share the achievements of the outgoing year and discuss plans for the next year.
